Som Mittal is a prominent international figure in the field of Information Technology and recipient of a lifetime achievement award for outstanding dedication to the growth of the Global ICT industry by the World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA). He has, in the past, also been awarded the Rotary International Business Leader of the Year. Mittal has had more than three decades of experience in the IT and automotive sector, that has included stints in several multinationals such as Hewlett Packard and Wipro. Formerly Chairman and President of Nasscom, he is now on several Boards of companies, educational institutions and social organisations.
