DESCRIPTION:With two weeks to the closing of the Book of Gold: The Kanchan
 a Chitra Ramayana of Banaras exhibition\, join us for a series of interac
 tive walkthroughs hosted by the MAP team and delve into Tulidas’ Ramchar
 itmanas\; the various styles of miniature painting traditions in the early
  19th century\; and the historical context within which the manuscript was
  commissioned.\n\nThe walkthroughs will be conducted everyday (except Mond
 ay) from 27 February 2024 till 10 March 2024 at 3:00 PM IST.\n\nCurated by
  the late Kavita Singh and Parul Singh\, the exhibition\, Book of Gold: Th
 e Kanchana Chitra Ramayana of Banaras\, displays nearly 80 folios from the
  Kanchana Chitra Ramayana\, or the Golden Illustrated Ramayana.
