Dr. Benny Kuriakose
Climate Change is upon us. Its reality has started affecting us all today, and yet, we still have not given enough attention to the problem of how to mitigate it. Dr. Benny Kuriakose argues that technology alone cannot compensate for poorly thought out architecture. Using his vast experience of working on the Dakshinachitra Heritage Museum in Chennai, and his many years of practising sustainable architecture, Dr. Kuriakose will explore the lessons we can learn from traditional knowledge and approaches.
Delving into architecture conservation and building for climate change, get to know how locally available materials can be used in sustainable architecture practice.
